E dopo il Sony Xperia S che il nostro grande Domenico ci ha appena presentato, la casa Giapponese presenta al CES un altro dispositivo della serie Xperia, questa volta in esclusiva per At&t, dal nome che dimostra, come scriveva Domenico, che il creativo dei nomi era in ferie: Ion, questo lo strano nome che, probabilmente, deve avere qualche significato solo per gli amici del Sol Levante. Display da 4,6 pollici HD, processore dual-core da 1,5 GHz e, come il cugino, fotocamera da 12 Mpx con sensore Exmor R capace di scattare una foto ogni 1,5 secondi. Anche in questo caso colpisce la scelta di far arrivare sul mercato il dispositivo con Gingerbread e non Ice Cream Sandwich. Completano la dotazione l’uscita HDMI, la fotocamera anteriore in HD e la certificazione Playstation con accesso al Sony Entertainment Network. Essendo esclusiva At&t non poteva mancare la connessione LTE; dopo il break il comunicato stampa ufficiale (in inglese) ed il primo video. Buona visione.

And after the Sony Xperia S that our great Domenico has just presented, the Japanese house presents at CES another Xperia series device, this time exclusively for At&t, with a name that reflects, as Domenico wrote, the creative names was on vacation: Ion, this is the strange name that probably should have some meaning only for friends of the Rising Sun. 4.6 inch HD display, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and, like his cousin, 12-megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor capable of taking a photo every 1.5 seconds. In this case too it is strange the choice to present the device with Gingerbread at place of Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include HDMI output, the front HD camera  and Playstation certification with access to Sony Entertainment Network.
